Caracterización Arqueométrica de la Producción Cerámica Numantinaby Manuel Garciá-HerasAn archaeometric study of first century BC Numantian pottery production. The material came from several excavations carried out this century in the town of Numanicia (Soria, Spain) and other areas in the region. Several scientific techniques were used to characterize the pottery and it introduces the use of Total-Reflection X-ray Fluorescence for the analysis of ceramics. Four different production sequences are identified suggesting specialised workshops.
