This meeting brought together a number of scholars from archaeological/anthropological, linguistic and genetics backgrounds. An inter-disciplinary approach is taken throughout in addressing key questions and issues concerning the cultural relationships and gene flow between peoples of Iberia and the rest of the Mediterranean and Europe. In particular, important links are found between prehistoric populations of Iberia and those of North Africa.
