Le Neolithique de Chypre

These twenty-eight papers, taken from an international colloquium held in Nicosia in 2001, focus on the subject of the Neolithic on the island of Cyprus. Contributors discuss and present evidence from recent projects carried out on the island and reflect on existing data under the main subject headings of the establishment of the Neolithic (pre-ceramic and ceramic), material culture evidence, the economy, funerary rites and anthropology, symbolic ideology, and Cyprus in relation to the Near East.
