by Margaret Gray, edited by Lorna Watts and Philip Rahtz

This report describes two excavations at the Trinitarian priory of Thelsford, Warwickshire: suggested layout of the priory complex, its water systems, gardens and land. Finds included a lead shroud and skeleton which was possibly that of Edmund Lucy (died c.1498), or his wife Joan (died 1514). Includes a gazetteer of Trinitarian sites in England, with the results of recent documentary research and fieldwork. 144p with 77 figs and 8 plates. (BAR 226, 1993) Secondhand copy: as new with library label.
