Many of the biggest names in landscape archaeology are represented in this collection of essays which ably demostrate the continuing vitality of the discipline. The volume is dedicated to Andrew Fleming on his retirement, and the contributors have all been influenced by his work. The British Isles are the setting for the majority of essays, but there are also discussions of the Athenian Acropolis, the modern landscape of Central Sicily and Neolithic Portugal.
