Details
This book tells the story of the author's personal involvement in the Canadaian chapter of A Rocha - a Christian Bird Observatory on the coast of Portugal. The Canadian Environmental Centre, founded on the A Rocha ethos, has welcomed thousands of visitors, as well as hundreds of interns, day campers and school children. It has grown tons of organic vegetables, served thousands of meals, and conducted conservation research on a myriad of species. All of this has taken place within an intentionality of staying true to the Christian convictions regarding creation care, hospitality and justice.
