This fifth volume in a series publishing Minoan and Mycenaean seals presents an illustrated catalogue of new finds from Greece and western Turkey. Arranged alphabetically by region, the first supplement publishes seals from Ägina to Mykonos while the second publishes seals from Nafplion to Volos and western Turkey. Each town, island or region is introduced with a discussion of the local archaeological museum and its collection. The first supplement begins with an examination of the provenance of the seals, their date, their inscriptions and images, their type, composition, use and movement across the region. German text.
