In 1999 and international Round Table was held in honour of the late Vronwy Hankey, a renowned scholar in Aegean and Near Eastern archaeology. This volume publishes eleven papers from that meeting, with contributors focusing on the movement of Mycenaean pottery from its point of origin throughout the eastern Mediterranean. Evidence from such sites as Tell Abou Hawan, Byblos, Ras Shamra, Ugarit and numerous sites on Cyprus is discussed in terms of the pottery evidence itself and how this can be used for dating and to reconstruct patterns of trade and exchange. Papers and abstracts in French and English.
