The papers gathered in this volume explore the ways in which Bronze Age societies dealt with and overcame collapse, and how community was maintained. Contributions are arranged geographically, with coverage extended across the whole of Europe and the Near East. As well as examining different resilience strategies, they also discuss problems surrounding the identification of collapse and continuity in the archaeological record.
