This work presents a typological outline, distribution and chronology for bronze arrowheads of the Scythian type in the northern Pontic region, from the middle Dniester in the west, via the Dnieper and lower Don, to the foothills of the northern Caucasus and the lower Volga region in the east. It forms a companion to earlier published work on the same subject by the author in southwestern Slovakia and conclusions are drawn about the relationship between the two datasets. Chronologically the work lies within the 8th-6th centuries BC. German text.
