Il restauro del Tabernacolo dei Rigattieri e Linaioli in Orsanmichele [Paperback]

The Tabernacolo dell’Arte dei Rigattieri and Linaioli is located on the southern face of the southwestern pillar of the Church of Orsanmichele in Florence (Italy). It was built in the 15th century to house the statue of St. Mark, the patron saint of the guild.

The text retraces the historical events relating to the design of the tabernacle, then taking into account the careful restoration work carried out in 2020 on the sculptural and architectural elements.
