Ad Ilissum

Ad Ilissum is a new imprint of Paul Holberton publishing for monographs, conference papers and highly specialised studies. Ad Ilissum ('by the Ilissus') takes its name from the river near the ancient Athenian village of Academe, where Socrates (according to Plato's Phaedrus) once bathed his feet.
