This study evaluates recent excavations in the Netherlands to develop techniques and frameworks for archaeological heritage management in wetland landscapes, specifically looking at the archaeology of foragers and early farmers. In so doing the author also provides a model for Mesolithic-Neolithic land-use in the Felvoland area.
