Egyptological Seminar of New York

Founded in 1978, the Egyptological Seminar of New York (ESNY) is a private, non-profit organisation devoted to the study of all aspects of ancient Egyptian culture, from pre-dynastic times to the Byzantine era. ESNY sponsors a regular series of lectures given by leading scholars and advanced students of Egyptology. It publishes annually the Bulletin of the Egyptological Seminar (BES), which contains a wide range of articles on ancient Egyptian art, archaeology, culture, history and language. ESNY's acitivties are solely funded by its members who are invited to all lectures and receive a complimentary copy of BES.
