Staffed mostly by poets who volunteer their time and student interns who wish to learn more about publishing, Oberlin College Press is a non profit literary press based in Oberlin, Ohio. Oberlin College Press publishes new collections of poetry by both established and newly emerging American poets, while also providing translations of world poetry and collections of poetry in the form of anthologies. Their chief aims are to publish works that meet their exceedingly high standards; those which display notable literary excellence, and this is reflected in the reception their published books receive. The glowing reviews OCP’s books are known to receive includes Stephen Burt of Salon.com naming Angie Estes’ Enchantee his poetry book of the year in his Ultimate Book Guide for 2013.
