Pindar Press

The Pindar Press has been publishing books in the fields of art history and archaeology since 1981.

Pindar has established its reputation through the Selected Studies in the the History of Art series in which we present the work of major scholars. This series makes available a comprehensive selection of papers published by leading authorities, grouped around a common theme, or the art of an era. The original studies have appeared in a a range of specialist journals, some of which are no longer available in art history libraries.

The Pindar Press welcomes suggestions for future volumes in the Selected Studies series, as well as new monographs. Works in classical archaeology and medieval and Renaissance art history are especially welcome.
